Welcome to D&F 'Loved Before, Love Again' - our pre-loved marketplace - created in a bid to cut down on consumption as we all journey towards a more sustainable planet. 

Dilly & Fin was born out of a desire to buy better. To be more conscious about retail and the processes involved. Steering away from the idea of fast fashion, we wanted to create a platform that championed boutique, independent brands; that put emphasis on sustainability, natural materials, quality and ethical practices - so that we could offer customers timeless pieces that are built to last. That can be passed down through from generations. We are slow fashion and cater to one season only in Singapore - summer - because our wonderful little red dot is hot. all. the. time. Which means we are really selective about what we choose to sell and the brands we work with.

According to the BBC, an estimated 92 million tonnes of textiles waste is created each year and the equivalent to a rubbish truck full of clothes ends up on landfill sites every second. Fast fashion, although making clothes more affordable, also comes burdened with a huge environmental cost. Global powerhouse Zara produces over 20 collections every year, amounting to around 12,000 new styles launched annually; while according to Corsesight research, British ultra-fast (yes that's a thing now!) fashion brand Misguided releases 1,000 new products monthly. 

Singapore's National Environment Agency states that we produced 137 tonnes of textile waste in 2020 alone and recycled just 4%, the lowest recycling culprit of the waste types measured - that meant 131 tonnes ended up in landfill.

WEAR IT LOVE IT TRADE IT

Has your little love outgrown their Dilly & Fin clothing? Trade it in for credit to use across any of our collections. Simply drop us an email at info@dillyandfin.com and then send it to us. Once we have received and inspected the item/s, we will get back to you with your own monetary value discount code to use site-wide. Your pre-loved Dilly & Fin item will then be photographed, marketed and re-sold on our pre-loved marketplace to be loved once again! 

Items must be in good condition, stain free, fade free and freshly laundered. Items purchased via our pre-loved market do not count as D&F clothing and therefore are not eligible for our trade in programme. 

If you don't accept our offer, we can return the item to you at your own cost or we can donate to one of our recommended Singapore based children's charities. 

How do you price D&F pre-loved items?

We take factors such as brand, style, category, original purchase price and condition into account when setting prices for pre-loved garments. Pricing is at Dilly & Fin's discretion and may be changed should we think it will help with a sale.

What happens if my items have not been accepted?

When you send your items to us, we ask you to specify whether you want your unaccepted clothes returned to you at your own cost - a flat fee of $5, or donated to a Singapore based children's charity.

Please check your items carefully before sending to us - ensure they are clean, without stains and fading.

Trade in your pre-loved baby and kids clothes on D&F's pre-loved marketplace and let them be loved once again. 

FAQ

How does it work?

Simply drop us an email at info@dillyandfin.com with what you would like to trade along with pictures and amount. We require a minimum of 3 items.

We'll then send you a pre-paid postage bag for you to send your clothes in. Simply take it to your nearest drop-off point. Once we have inspected and accepted the garments, we'll photograph, market and sell them for you on our pre-loved marketplace within 5 working days. Once an item has been sold, you take 60% of the value which will be transferred to your bank account within 14 days of the sale. 

Items will be listed for 6 months. We may mark the price down to assist with a sale if we deem it necessary. If it hasn't been sold by 6 months, we can either return the items to you at your own expense or donate to a wonderful Singapore based children's charity so that your clothes can be loved again by someone in need. 

How do you price items?

What can I sell? 

We accept all clothing, sleepwear, swimwear and shoes for ages 0-4. We do not accept underwear. Our pre-loved marketplace is an added extension of our Dilly & Fin brand - which means we will only sell on pre-loved items that are in excellent condition - no stains, holes, pulling and with name tags and with original brands and care instructions attached. 

The brands must be like-minded brands that follow a similar aesthetic to our own - of good quality, timeless in style and must be summer appropriate. We do not accept winter clothing. Please see our accepted brand list below. If you have a brand that isn't listed, go get in touch with the brand name and we will let you know whether we can accept it.
